What's inside.

  • ✓Scavenger hunt design guide
  • ✓Clue writing and difficulty balancing
  • ✓Route planning and flow design
  • ✓

What they are actually learning.

Your child designs a scavenger hunt for other people, which is much harder than doing one. Clues have to be solvable but not obvious. The route has to flow. Then real participants run it, get stuck in the wrong place, and the design gets fixed.

  • Planning: Sequencing the hunt, mapping the route and planning distances that work
  • Creative Thinking: Writing clues that are solvable but not obvious, and theming the whole thing
  • Communication: Writing instructions clear enough to follow without a hint
  • Problem-Solving: Testing it on real people and fixing the clue that stopped everyone
Why it matters

The skill of breaking a fuzzy problem into clear steps quietly compounds. Kids who practice it run their own day in their teens, their own life in their twenties.
