What's inside.

  • ✓Complete kinetic art project guide
  • ✓Movement principles: balance, wind, gravity, rotation
  • ✓Material exploration and construction techniques
  • ✓

What they are actually learning.

Your child builds art that moves, which means the physics has to work before the art does. Balance, wind, gravity, rotation. It will not move right the first time or the fifth. Test, adjust, rebuild, and the sculpture at the end is proof of the iterating.

  • Engineering: Making balance, gravity, wind and rotation actually produce movement
  • Art: Designing something worth looking at once it works
  • Problem-Solving: Testing, adjusting and rebuilding when the mechanism refuses to cooperate
  • Communication: Explaining how it works and why it was built that way
Why it matters

Real creative thinking is not glittery crafts. It is the patience to design, build, fail, and rebuild. Every invention, every business, every solution starts here.
