Design and build a survival base for an imaginary expedition. Kids choose a biome, research challenges, plan their base layout, create models, and present their design. Combines geography, engineering, science, and creative design into one epic project.
Ages 6–14 · Project guide · 3 skill levels
Your child designs a base that could survive somewhere hostile, real or invented. They research the biome first, so the design has to answer actual conditions: this cold, this water supply, this terrain. Then they build a model of it.
