Investigation activities that teach kids to spot when AI gets things wrong. Kids learn about AI hallucinations, practise verifying AI outputs, understand why AI makes confident mistakes, and develop the habit of always checking before trusting. Healthy scepticism for the AI age.
Ages 9–14 · Project guide · 3 skill levels
Your child gets an AI to state something confidently and wrong, then proves it. That is the whole hook. They cross-check sources, learn why a system sounds certain when it has no idea, and build the habit of verifying before believing.
Your kid will spend the rest of their life around AI. Whether they treat it like magic, an oracle, or a tool they direct is up to what you teach them now. This is the literacy that defines the next twenty years.
