Free 5-day challenge · Starts Monday, September 14
Five days. Five real-world skills. One capable kid.
One real-life activity a day, for five days, about an hour each. No prep, no printing, no worksheets. You lead it with your kid, and I'm in the group every single day, doing it right alongside you.
For families with kids roughly 6 to 14. Runs September 14 to 18, 2026.

What the five days look like
A gentle build across the week. Each day is one small thing, done together, that quietly grows a real-world skill.
- 1
Day 1
Say it in words alone
We start light. Your kid has to get a picture out of their head and into yours using nothing but written words, and you find out together how close it lands.
- 2
Day 2
Outside, building and testing
We head out and make something real with whatever nature hands you. Real engineering, the trial-flop-fix kind, no kit required.
- 3
Day 3
A friendly family face-off
Everyone picks a side and makes their case, even the little ones. It is loud, it is funny, and it builds the quiet art of saying why.
- 4
Day 4
They take the lead
You hand over the wheel and let your kid run a real thing start to finish. Sitting on your hands is the whole point, and where the confidence grows.
- 5
Day 5
A real money mission, and a feast
The big finish. Your kid takes real money on a real mission and pulls off a little celebration for the whole family. The proudest day, and the one you will want a photo of.
How it works
A daily nudge, two ways
Each morning you get a short email plus a post in our pop-up group with that day's activity. Open it and do it together, about an hour, a little less on some days and more for the big finish.
You lead, together
These are parent-led on purpose. You do the activity with your kid, not hand them a screen. That shared time is the whole point.
I'm in it with you
Post a photo or a comment when you finish and I'll reply, every day. It's a small group, so you get me, not a support inbox.
A note from me
I'll be honest with you. I'm one mom, not a company. I taught for fifteen years, watched kids slowly lose the everyday life skills that used to come for free, and eventually took a year off to travel and homeschool my own two. I never went back.
This challenge is the simplest version of what we do at our kitchen table and on the road. It's free, it's low-key, and because it's small, you actually get me. Come see what your kid can do with five real-world days.
